Honestly one of the best Mandarins I've been to... Servers were great and my plates were cleared every time I got up and returned ... The buffet itself was always stocked, food tasted great... Loved the grill station and the sushi table... Well done Kitchener Mandarin!!

Came here for a work dinner and considering we were a big group, service for drinks and cleaning of plates was very fast! Lee was an exceptional server, super attentive, friendly, and sociable. The food was as I expected, tasted good and as always they have a good variety for a buffet. Overall was a great outing and the atmosphere and service was great all around.

The whole family (party of about 20) got together at the Mandarin, monday, October 13th, for Thanksgiving weekend. Good fun, great food. Sayyad and Mike took care of our table with great professionalism. We've been going to this Kitchener location for years and have enjoyed our experience each time. Prices have jumped, which knocked off one star, for me.

Mandarin is hands down one of the most fun and enjoyable dining experiences I’ve had! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly polite, friendly, and full of energy – they truly go out of their way to make sure you’re having a great time. One of the highlights was how they celebrate your birthday – they make it feel super special! They sang, brought out a dessert, and even gave me a photo to take home as a souvenir. It was such a thoughtful touch and made my day extra memorable. The variety of food is impressive – there’s something for everyone! From fresh sushi and stir-fries to classic Western dishes, soups, salads, and a huge selection of desserts, everything was delicious and well-prepared. You can tell they put care into offering both quality and quantity. Whether you’re celebrating something or just in the mood for a fun night out with great food, Mandarin is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been to several Mandarin locations, but this one on King Street in Kitchener really stands out. The restaurant is spotless, the buffet is always fresh and well-stocked, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. There’s a huge variety of options — from sushi and dim sum to roast beef and a fantastic dessert bar — and everything tastes fresh, never like it’s been sitting out. What I especially like is how attentive the servers are without being intrusive. Plates are cleared quickly, drinks are refilled promptly, and they genuinely seem happy to have you there. Whether you’re coming for a casual lunch, a special occasion, or just to treat yourself, this location nails it every time. Definitely worth the visit.
