We weren't even hungry and we had one of our best dining experiences of the past three years. It was our 3rd anniversary and we came here on the advice of a friend... and what good advice it was! We started with stracciatella al fuoco, which was fantastic. My wife had the sole, I had lamb chops, and for both of us, the selections were the best we've had of these dishes (in her words, she didn't think fish could taste this good). We finished with tiramisu that was out of this world. Truly one of the best, if not THE best, Italian restaurants available in San Antonio. The restaurant itself was cute, and our server (Fati) was extremely attentive, even to bringing my wife warm wine (she has a tooth sensitivity this weekend) which, to use her words, was excellent.
Everything was absolutely amazing! Every dish we ordered was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The calamari arrabbiata was outstanding—perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice, easily one of the best I’ve had. The entrées were just as impressive: fresh, tender, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. From the seafood to the meats and sides, everything tasted authentic and delicious. We also finished with dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout the night. This place truly delivers on quality, flavor, and experience. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back! 🍝🍰
Finally got to go for their dinner. There is always a long wait last time was 2 hours but it was the holidays. Today was right at 45 minutes. Like Kevin always says if there isn't a wait on Saturday night probably not going to make it in the restaurant business. Food was delicious definitely worth the wait. We shared the Insalata Primavera and Pollo Bronx Parmigiana plus bread with dipping oil. Plus a couple of glasses of red wine 🍷 It's the best parmigiana I've ever had. It is a golden-crusted chicken breast topped with vodka sauce, melted mozzarella, and a touch of sweet heat from cherry peppers, served over rigatoni Alfredo and Broccolini. They pour hot mozzarella on it right at your table. OMG!! Highly recommend if you're in the area. Staff was wonderful and very attentive with everything. Our bartender was on point too. Always checking in on us. We sat at the bar to wait but did eat the salad including bread. Then got a table for our main entree. Water and bread continued to be taken care of. Even the owner checked in on us twice once at the bar then seated at table. And thanked us again on way out of restaurant. Food portions were a lot. We shared and still have left overs. I'm pretty full. Best Italian I've had in a very long time. I'm not sure if he's going to expand there or not. But I feel like they may outgrow that space. But overall one of the top restaurants in my book. Definitely will be back. Each time will have to try a new entree but that parmigiana rocked. 😊
The service and atmosphere was spectacular. Not even 5 minutes into being sat the owner came by our table and thanked us for coming and dining here. Allison was our server and she made great recommendations for the wine and appetizer. The food couldn’t have been better. We shared a delicious plate of the shrimp and crab cakes. I had the Bronx pollo parmigiana and my date had the spicy rigatoni. Both were excellent. Only complaint is that I have to come back here and try the rest of the menu now.
Atmosphere was great, Christmas deco was outstanding. Owner or manager was fantastically friendly and was giving off a family vibe. Made us feel welcome. He checked on us through the night even with a packed house. He was adamant if we didn't like anything he would make it right. Food was good and the cheese dripping onto the entree was a great touch! Waiter was friendly and kept checking to see if we were good. For a fairly new place they have the customer service down pat. We will definitely be back and enjoy this great place again.
