I have been a longtime customer of Vida's, so when it was time to have my wedding dress tailored, there was no place I'd rather go. Vida always puts the utmost care into every piece she tailors and alters clothes in a way as if they were originally customized for me. She has a keen attention to detail and can work with even the most difficult fabrics. My wedding dress had numerous layers and intricate stitching, yet Vida preserved every detail of the design while making sure it fit perfectly. I am so grateful to have been able to work with Vida on my wedding dress and I look forward to all her wonderful work to come!
I had an unexpected wedding dress mishap two days before the wedding and Mariemont Alteration & Custom Tailoring did everything in their power to get things figured out before the big day. I cannot thank Vida enough! She worked on 5 of my bridal outfits, my mother’s dress, and altered them to utter perfection. She spent extra time on my wedding dress to make sure every thread and piece of lace were where they needed to be. I cannot rave enough about Vida! She worked magic on my wedding dress, veil, and short bridal dress I wore for my bridal shower and rehearsal dinner. From the moment I walked into her shop, she made me feel confident that my gown was in the best hands. She’s straight to the point because she knows exactly what needs to be done and how to do it. She handled everything with precision and care. Not only did the dress fit like a dream, but she also made my veil look even more stunning by perfecting its drape. It was my mother’s wedding veil that we had taken off a headband and put onto a comb. A seamstress before Vida had done this but did so where part of the veil was sticking straight up when I put it on my head. So, I took it to Vida and she looked at it and made it exactly how I imagined. She even was able to re-sew the crystals on top of the comb. Her attention to detail, skill, and professionalism were incredible, and she was always kind and patient throughout the process. She is also reasonably priced and fast! Thanks to her, I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day! She played such an integral part in making our wedding day perfect and truly the best day ever. If you’re looking for a talented and trustworthy seamstress, look no further than Vida. She’s truly the best and I will go to her for everything moving forward. So thankful to have found her!
