I visited urgent care in October with a visibly very swollen, red eye. I specifically asked about antibiotic treatment, as I suspected a staphylococcal infection. Dr. Sim told me it was not a bacterial infection and diagnosed a stye (stye is by definition a bacterial infection!). I was not given any antibiotic eye drops or other pharma treatment and was told only to use warm compresses.I returned two weeks later because I had developed a large pus-filled capsule on my eyelid. A different doctor told me it was too late for antibiotics and that I would need a referral to an ophthalmologist for possible surgical drainage, assuring me that I would be contacted. Nobody ever contacted me. Despite paying over $500, I received no effective treatment and no follow-up. I had to traveled back to Europe to have my eye properly examined (because to get proper patient care in your urgentcare is nonexisting phenomenom). There, I was diagnosed with permanently damaged Meibomian glands and chronic inflammation, caused by a severe infection that WAS NOT treated appropriately at the time. When I showed photos of how my eye looked initially, I was told that the inflammation was severe and that antibiotic treatment should have been started IMMEDIATELY. The level of absolute incompetence shown in handling such a basic and common condition is deeply concerning. This experience resulted in permanent damage and unnecessary suffering. I would strongly caution others before relying on this urgent care for eye-related issues.
Nurse Megan treated me quickly and kindly. And even though she could not help me, because I needed more intense help, she sent me to the exact right ER, where I was seen right away and got the help I needed. Very grateful to her.
My husband and I went to the urgent care this afternoon. There was no line and we were seen rather quickly. My husband had ingrown toenail that was causing him pain and bleeding. We were taken care of by Kasey Higgins PA. She was knowledgeable, courteous, nice and amazing. She took care of the Ingrown toenail surgically and prescribed antibiotics, tinus shot, and after care instructions. I would say her professionalism is superb. She not only took care of the symptoms, but got to the root of the problem. I would highly recommend her to any patient. Her care was above our expectation. Thank you Kasey.
I came in to get two different tests, upon telling Grace at the front desk what tests they were she told me it would be 165. she gives me the self pay menu of service and I pay. after reading the Menu I come to find out the tests I asked her for are actually 360. When i get called in i ask the doctor that if I were to get an the screening would i be invoiced extra. She confirmed I would be, I asked her why the front desk lady misled me into thinking the price was cheaper she went and asked Grace what happened because the doctor herself was confused. She comes back in and tells me that she thinks that Grace got confused and may not know the packages. This doesn’t make sense considering she works there and got trained to do this, and there’s a whole paper stating the prices and what’s included. I don’t work there and understood perfectly what the packages are. This was very sneaky and i filmed the whole thing. Had i not looked at that paper I would have left paying more than expected because of an incompetent or dishonest employee. Will be complaining to the higher institutions about this. Shame on Grace in time where health care is expensive and ruining ppls lives
My husband received care at this location. We checked in at 11:00am and finished by 1:00pm. We had about an hour wait before moving back to a room. The staff were very friendly throughout our visit - the PA was knowledgable & caring. Hopefully, we won’t need to return anytime soon but if we need urgent care, we’re glad to have a reliable option near us!
