The doctors vary in quality. Some, like Dr. Binney, are good. Some like Dr. Manion, are terrible - she once told my data scientist husband that he doesn’t know how to read a growth chart. The practice does not seem to have centralized controls in place. For example, debunked statements about formula are still made and nobody seems to review maternal depression surveys. If you are a formula feeding mom who cares about your own mental health, I suggest going elsewhere.

Don’t come here, Dr Ryan doesn’t care about your child and pushes for vaccines. She sneakily gave my daughter 2 COVID boosters that I told her no to. My daughter kept getting sicker and sicker after she came here.

Fantastic practice that we've continued going to even after moving out of the city. Their nursing answering line is supportive, appointments are timely, and staff are kind and knowledgeable. We've had a great experience with Dr. Shapiro specifically and can't recommend her enough!

I used to take my son to this practice in 2023 before we moved out of Boston, and I can't say enough good things. As a new mom, I felt very comfortable and supported here. The entire team was professional and kind, and my son was always treated with great care. We absolutely loved Dr. Menzin—she was thorough and reassuring which made all the difference. I’d highly recommend this practice, and especially Dr. Menzin, to any parent looking for a pediatrician they can trust.

I don't know why it's taken me this long to write a review of this practice. Over 16 years! But here we are. I can't say enough. 5 stars aren't enough. Compassionate, educated, intelligent, kind, up to date on all the most cutting edge treatments for children. I trust them implicitly with my kids care. Incredibly responsive when you need them to be: weekends, nights, whenever. They've stepped in when my kids have had emergency situations (and we have had more than I care to remember). Dr. Manion, Dr. Menzin, Dr. Vernacchio but we have seen all of them over the years. No question too small and we have never been turned away or had to wait an extra second when we needed to be seen. I want to particularly mention the kind and helpful people I have spoken with in the billing office. They go out of their way with their good humor (I always hear the laughter in their voices!) and they make sure my kids have the insurance pre approvals they need even when I don't know exactly what I need. In addition, my kids have always had the hard to find vaccines - on time! I'm literally just so grateful for every bit of wonderful care we have had over the years. Thank you for everything, Longwood Pediatrics!
