Very predatory billing practices. If you pay by the year, they won’t let you cancel until the month after the final payment (and before the next payment). To the best of my knowledge this is actually illegal in some states. Make sure you remember to call them! Put it on your calendar to cancel your membership! And you can’t cancel online, you have to cancel by calling, I’m sure they try to convince you to keep it. I’m going to tell my credit card to no longer accept payments to them.

My husband and I planned our Saturday around the couples massage we had booked. Only to receive a text 2 hours before the 4:45 appt letting us know one of the therapist “didn’t come in today”. Then why didn’t you tell me that when you opened?!? M Needless to say, first impression and last!!!!

I would just like to say that I had an amazing experience at Massage Envy. Casey did my massage and was able to work out all of the kinks that I had in my neck, my back and my shoulder. He actually was able to make sure that my left shoulder leveled out with my right and he did an amazing job. Moonsun did my facial. She was able to recommend products that would work best for my face overall, my skin is in good health but could use more moisturizing and more exfoliation, so she was able to help me find things that I can use on my face. Overall, my experience was sort of amazing and I would recommend anybody to go to Massage Envy and get your facial, your massage, and they’ll even stretch you out if you need it. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Good massage. Poor customer service skills from front desk and manager regarding honoring a gift card for which I had the receipt. Totally negated the whole massage experience. Will not be back.

Got a call 15 mins prior to my appointment telling me my massage therapist was stuck in traffic on 75, which was funny because I was on 75 driving from Richmond and there was no traffic going north or south. Regardless if they were coming from a different part of 75 from another city near Lexington, unless they were already running late there was no way 15 minutes would’ve gave them enough time to make it regardless if there was a wreck or not.The person who called said that they could push me back later that day before she actually checked and then proceeds to check and tells me that there was no more appointments available for the day and I could come back at another date. The fact that they called 15 mins prior to my appointment is truly unacceptable as well as overpromising before knowing what they were actually able to do and then to top it off no offer of a free or discounted service which would’ve made up for something, especially because if I had to cancel last minute I would’ve been charged for it. However, I got a “Thanks for making this easy”. No actually, I’m 39 wks pregnant and very upset that I got out of my bed and drove from Richmond to Lexington for nothing at 9am.

This used to be the only place to go for a great massage. Now under new ownership and management, they are pretty bad. The turnover of staff is ridiculous and the manager I met was kind of rude. At this time, my wife has stopped going there, my sister-in-law stopped going, and finally, I have stopped going. Wherever the old owner, Pierce, is I hope he never finds out how the business he builds is now failing to meet even basic requests of its long time clientele.
