I had a horrible experience with the San Tan location regarding the cancellation of my account. I was told I would receive a cancellation form via email, but I never received the form or any follow-up emails or reminders from that location. Because of this, I went to another location, where I immediately received the proper form and confirmation emails/texts without any issues. Due to the lack of follow-through between the two locations, my account was not canceled on time and I was charged for an additional month. Over the past five months, I made multiple phone calls and never received a callback from a manager. When I finally reached a manager after being on hold for 30 minutes, she refused to hear my side of the situation and stated that I was owed nothing. I also spoke with several staff members previously and was told there were no notes documenting my calls, even though I had contacted them multiple times. I was informed their system was having issues. I personally documented names and dates, but the manager (Megan) was unwilling to review or discuss this information. Overall, the lack of communication, accountability, and customer service has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Booked a massage with Andrea and she was absolutely amazing. I came in with irritated neck muscles leading to interrupted sleep. After, I felt a huge improvement and slept like a baby. 1000/10 would definitely come back to see her!!

Made an appointment for my adult son total cost for service was $130. He got violently ill from food poisoning tried to call did not get anyone couldnt cancel. I got charged $210. for a no call no show thats almost double the actual service and they refused to remove. They offered 50 % discount on the charge in which they never refunded. I will never go there again

I decided to book a massage over the three day weekend to try and decompress from work. Booking an appointment was easy through the website. The staff was phenomenal and my massage therapist, Julia, did an amazing job. I do NOT want to talk negatively about the staff as they simply come into work and do their jobs. They are not by any means in control of the prices or how they are reflected online. I’d recommend Massage Envy to friends and family, HOWEVER I would highly recommend they call and request for a specific price break down before booking. When booking online the price given to me was $132 (excluding a tip) and it was stated that my card would not be charged until the time of the appointment. Upon checking out I was notified that my price would increase to $192 because I declined signing up for a monthly membership. When booking online the fine print below the price only stated that some add-ons may not be available at every location and that some promotions may not apply to you if you have already been to a Massage Envy location (which I have never been to massage envy before this). Nowhere did it mention anything about a price increase due to declining a membership. Saddened by this experience, especially since I planned it all out to treat myself for the weekend. I am a non confrontational person so I was not going to make a scene especially since all staff members were so kind hearted. I understand they’re just there doing their jobs.

Wasn't impressed with the full body 90 min massage. Seemed like a pressure point service not a massage. Felt like the therapist was tired and just sat in areas and held pressure for long periods. Spent very little time on legs or arms which she used her arm and did a few passes and moved to the next appendage. On my neck and shoulders it was just as unimpressive. Long holds and no massage. Here is what I expect a massage to be: the rubbing and kneading of muscles and joints of the body with the hands, especially to relieve tension or pain.
