My first experience at Maven absolutely blew me away!!! It’s easy to advertise a luxury experience but it’s harder to make it actually feel like a luxury experience and that’s exactly what Maven does best. I’ve told so many friends & coworkers about my experience and how I just want to keep going to do different things to my hair. Reagan was a dream come true in a stylist. She listened to my vision and executed perfectly. She was so attentive and so sweet, she immediately made me feel comfortable and cared for. I will definitely be coming back…I can’t wait for my next scheduled appointment!

I called to book an appointment with the Fort Worth salon. I started the call off, by saying I wanted to go red and provided a specific day and time to see if they could get me in before my birthday. The woman who was taking my appointment asked if I wanted to add a color consultation and I said yes. When I showed up for my appointment, the color consultation was honestly great. I provided photos of my hair as I have been red before. During the consultation, the woman I had been booked with was saying things that made me think we were not dying my hair that day. Turns out whoever booked my appointment did not book the actual coloring. I had really been looking forward to this appointment and my birthday was the following day. They were able to get me in the following morning although it was not with the woman I had just done the color consultation with. The next morning I show up for my appointment. As the appointment was nearing the end, and we were in the blow dry stage, my hairdresser told me that she saw no difference with my hair and I agreed. For context I went in blonde(ish) and wanted red. I was visibly upset leaving the salon because this was now the second time there had been an issue with my appointment and it was about an hours drive for me to get there. They asked if I could come back later that day, and I ended up having to take most of the day off of work. I returned to the salon for the third time. When I left the salon, the result was not really what I had asked for, but it was really pretty. After my first wash, most of the color that was in my hair washed out. I ended up reaching out to the salon and asked for a refund for the color consultation (because this artist is not who did my coloring) and coloring service. I did get a haircut and told them I was not seeking a refund for this. They provided me with a refund for the color consultation, but felt they achieved what I had asked for with the color. They did offer to do a complementary glaze on my hair and said if I was not happy after that, we could discuss the next steps. I don’t know if those next steps would have resulted in a full refund, but by this point, that would have been my fourth visit to this salon and I declined the glaze. If you are looking to dye your hair, maybe opt in for the color strand test as doing this might prevent similar experiences.

I had my hair done by Mya. My hair is really long and thick, and I hadn’t had it cut in over a year. Mya was absolutely FANTASTIC! My haircut is beautiful and the treatments she did on my hair have totally brought it back to life! I’m beyond pleased, to say the least! I just happened upon y’all’s studio on google since my stylist moved and I needed to find a new one. I will definitely be coming back for all my salon needs! I loved the vibe and Mya was so sweet. 10 outa 10, highly recommend!

I had the best experience working with the team at Maven. Court did my color and was such a pleasure to work with. The consult was comprehensive, and she really took time to understand what my vision was. Marissa did my cut and it feels so much healthier! They were both so kind and warm. Sometimes salons can feel stuffy and mean girl-y. This was NOT the maven vibe. I’ve been trying for 5 years to find “my salon” in DFW and Maven is the spot for sure! They offer complimentary drinks, snacks and have a robust product line to maintain your new hair routine. I can’t recommend Maven enough. Check out Court and Marissa, you won’t regret it!

Had the best 1st time experience at Maven! I wasn’t completely sure what to ask for while booking, however I was helped, and guided through the process. Jay was my stylist and she was wonderful, she did an amazing job on my hair. I could not have had a better experience, I will definitely be back, and I will definitely recommend this place to my friends:)
