Casino owners do everything in their power to keep visitors to Las Vegas IN Las Vegas: great food, glitz, glamour, neon, music, and sensational shows. But don't go without planning to spend at least one day outside the city. If you can, choose a MaxTour (and by all means, try to get Corey as your tour guide). She picked us up at our hotel in a comfortable van, meaning we were a group of 12 (instead of a bus of 50!). She drove us to the famous "Las Vegas" sign for a photo op, then on to Seven Magic Mountains for a moment of art in the dessert, then on to Hoover Dam. It's a few hours tour but she had plenty of drinks and muffins and bananas and snacks. There were also a few bathroom breaks and a lunch truck stop along the way for a bit of local color. The real treat, though, is the Grand Canyon itself. Our tour took us to the west rim, which is on an Indian Reservation. I recommend opting for the premium ticket which includes the glass-bottom Skywalk over the rim of the canyon for the full experience; it's pricey but worth it. Don't be shocked when the canyon turns you into a blathering cliche: "It looks like a painting," "It looks unreal," "It's breathtaking / amazing / awe-inspiring." All true. But what it mostly is, is one of the most unforgettable things you will ever see. You could rent a car and drive to these destinations on your own but the joy of a tour is, of course, the tour guide. Corey was a delight. She knows her history, she's up on all the interesting details of both the dam and the canyon, and she's a font of information about everything in between. Keen listeners will notice Corey has a sensationally curated playlist that provides a cheeky, clever, apt, and inspiring soundtrack to every leg of the trip (including a list of "Vegas" songs that are absolutely thrilling to listen to as your round the corner of a mountain range on the way back and see the lights of Las Vegas spread out before you in the black of the dessert night. It was the highlight of our visit, not least because we were in such competent and caring hands for the whole trip. Go. Be a cliche. Stare with your mouth agape. You won't regret it. (And, as always, don't forget to tip your guide.) I'll post some photos but, as we all know, photos don't do it justice. Go, look with your eyes. I promise you won't need a photo to remember what you see.)

Amazing day with Celeste. We did the 7 magic mountain, hoover dam and grand canyon with skywalk tour. I highly recommend you add the skywalk option on your ticket because it includes lunch, the lunch was really good. I never felt rushed on this tour i felt like we had plenty of time at each spot. Celeste took our pictures and got some great shots for us. She always made sure we had something to drink and a snack. If you are reading this review because you are deciding which tour company to use, just go ahead and spend the few extra dollars and use Maxtour it was so nice not being on a bus and not waiting for lots of people before you can move on. It was a perfect day!!

Momo was our guide, and she was absolutely wonderful. She is kind, full of life, and made the entire tour engaging with her incredible storytelling and clear explanations of historical facts. She took care of every detail, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy the experience. The tour was extremely well planned, and we enjoyed every bit of it. Our 3-day journey covered Antelope Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley, and the Grand Canyon, and each stop was memorable. Thanks to Momo, the trip was not only smooth but also enriching and fun. Highly recommend

Absolutely Outstanding Experience with Bobby! We had the most amazing day on our Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam tour with MaxTour — and our driver-guide Bobby made it absolutely perfect! From the moment he picked us up, Bobby’s warmth, professionalism, and sense of humor made everyone feel comfortable and excited for the adventure ahead. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing tons of interesting facts about Las Vegas, the Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon in a way that was both fun and easy to follow. You can tell he truly loves what he does — his passion and energy made the entire experience unforgettable. Bobby also went above and beyond to make sure everyone had enough time for photos, snacks, and restroom breaks, and he even offered great tips for getting the best views and shots. The trip was smooth, well-organized, and filled with memorable moments. If you’re booking a MaxTour trip, ask for Bobby — you won’t regret it! He made our visit to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam one of the highlights of our entire vacation. 🌟

We had the absolute best time on the two day tour to Zion National Park, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, and the Grand Canyon. Cash was our tour guide and he was just the best. He knew all the best spots to stop for photos and even had some surprise stops for us that just made the trip so so worth it. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see all these places and wants a little adventure. It was so great having a group together who can take really cool pictures for each other and of course Cash was more than willing to take any pictures we wanted as well. This tour was the highlight of our whole trip to Las Vegas.
