I recently worked with the Mayfly team for the design of a small book where things like font type and size, margins, and cover design mattered a lot to me. They were superb to work with, very collaborative and creative. Julie as manager clearly laid out an efficient time table with review and decision points, making our collaboration easy and stress-free. Her cost estimate was explained well, and fair. Molly, the designer with whom we worked most closely, was inventive, meticulous and responsive to our input. Finally, Ryan, the senior designer and partner, stepped in at critical moments to solve problems, such as making sure that the insertion of Arabic, read from right to left, into our English text was not jumbled. I highly recommend the entire Mayfly team. It's been a pleasure to work with them and the product is superb, a beautiful book.
The best decision I made in my book publishing journey was hiring Mayfly.
