This place saved my life! I tried two hardware stores, Michael’s, Target, and Home Depot for a last minute Christmas tree stand and none had one. Meadows Farms had multiple stands in multiple sizes! Super affordable in price range, too. The customer service was impeccable and this place is so unassuming upon first glance. As a first time buyer, I was impressed. I will absolutely be back in the spring for flowers/plants!
I had a very disappointing experience at Meadows Farms Falls Church on Friday morning, September 26. I visited the nursery to choose plants for a fall container and needed help selecting an evergreen plant and, in general, plants that are good for containers. I asked two different staffers for help, and both answered my questions superficially, quickly, and without interest. And once I'd paid for my plants (which I mostly selected using my phone for research), no one offered to help me get my heavy wagon to the car. The nursery was well staffed at the time, but the employees were talking to each other. I like Meadows Farms for its competitive prices; however, the service was severely lacking. UPDATE: In response to my review above, I heard from both owner Jay Meadows and store manager Jaime Poveromo. They strongly encouraged me to give Meadows Farms another chance, which I did about a week and a half later. Clearly, the team had been given a pep talk because my experience was completely different. Many people asked if I needed help, offered to carry my purchases to the car, etc. Shopping at Meadows Farms was thoroughly enjoyable. It's nice to know that senior management cares so much about what customers think and motivate their employees accordingly.
Stopped by because my girlfriend wanted to go and it was pretty nice. I love the SpongeBob stuff they had out for Halloween and they had a vast selection of pumpkins and other things. There wasn’t a whole lot there but if you like gardening or you have little kids that might like the seasonal activities.
Incredible layout of the plants and pots. They had plenty of friendly staff, plenty of parking and a huge variety of plants. 🪴 my cacti are growing and are perfectly healthy. Will definitely visit again.
The quality of the poinsettias and fresh decorative greens is excellent. St. George’s Episcopal Church, D.C. was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season.
