My physical therapist, he is a male, whom could be mistaken for a drill sergeant. He is tough, but effective. I had a stroke back on July 25, 2021, and life got in the way that interfered with my healing. The stroke affected the right frontal lobe that affected my left side. But my faith lies in God himself. This clinic is phenomenal with awesome and fantastic therapist that really cares. You just have to put in the book and be committed to the continuous exercise outside of the clinic HEALING is my goal! Thank you National Rehabilitation Hospital at Medstar.

I am so glad that I came to this clinic! I had a stroke three years ago and my recovery was incomplete. My outpatient physical therapist was very nice, but I didn't feel like I made a ton of improvement in my mobility in my right leg, which is my primary problem. Fast forward a year and a half, and after just two sessions with Yamileth Nolasco, I feel my leg strength improving, and my mobility expanding. I wish I had come here sooner, and am looking forward to even greater improvement with more visits!

Hello, I’m posting my over all experience with the therapy sessions I have received at WHC outpatient Orthopedic clinic. My therapist Adam Y. has been phenomenal with his tactics, techniques and most important his knowledge and ability to demonstrate the exercises that were most effective for me in the healing process after knee surgery. It was very painful, difficult and tough to bend and move my knee without feeling extreme discomfort, but with the exercises and his expertise I’m walking better and feel better. Thanks Adam

I am grateful for a patient and kind receptionist like Mrs. Frances in the PT department. My paperwork was not submitted to them on time and she made sure that everything was set into place and i was able to keep my appointment. Her smile was priceless and service was impeccable. I wish you had 20 more just like her.

I’ve had a consistently great experience at MedStar Health: Physical Therapy at Irving Street, and a big part of that is thanks to Frances Rucker. She always greets my mother and I with a warm, professional attitude and makes the check-in process smooth and efficient. Frances is not only friendly and welcoming but also highly organized, which sets a positive tone for each visit. It’s clear she genuinely cares about patients and goes the extra mile to ensure everything runs seamlessly. Her presence truly enhances the overall experience. Thank you Frances!
