Always a pleasant experience. It's one of the only places i've purchased written books since moving to Georgia. Oh and I love the magnets and bookmarks too.

I drove 2 hrs to get here and it wasn’t open without any notice. So I come back the following week (which isn’t a problem because I’ve shopped here before spending 100s when I come….) This time I wanted to look at a book that had no table of contents available anywhere online…. She wouldn’t take it out the plastic to let me look at it because it would “devalue the book”…. It was only $25 and I had a pile already of $150 worth of books… she wouldn’t even give me the courtesy of a conversation after I drove 2 hours and could’ve bought everything I got online and for cheaper…. It’s extremely frustrating going out of the way to support folks who won’t even operate with a smidge of consideration. I won’t be going back to Amazon but I also won’t be returning here either…

I believe that children are our future so I buy them books! I took young family members here to get new interesting books and they loved the choices. The key to getting children to read for fun is finding something relatable. The owner is friendly and kind which made the experience worth it. Supporting small businesses is something I do intentionally. The fact that a black owned book store in Greenbrier is here, well adorned with selection and doing well shatters some stereotypes. I will be an avid supporter anytime the opportunity arises. I also plan to spread the word about this place since word of mouth referrals get the best traction.
