Our 7 year old (newly adopted) cat Simon was diagnosed with our local vet with a heart murmur. We made an appointment with MedVet and quickly was seen by a cardiologist. Dr. Nguyenba was very thorough, explained Simon’s condition in layman’s terms and suggested a plan of treatment. From the first contact on the phone making the appointment to our last exit on our departure, each person was pleasant and kind. Simon is in good hands and I’m confident they are capable of managing his disease.

My 13 year old dachshund had a new murmur that we were following closely, and ultimately I decided to see Dr. Yanni Giatis within the Cardiology group for an ECHO. From scheduling to the arrival staff, MedVet was exceptional. The procedure and consultation all took less than an hour, and Dr. Giatis sat with me to go over the results and answered all my questions. He was patient, kind, honest, and extremely personable. He made sure I felt confident in the plan moving forward and made me feel supported. This type of personalized care is hard to come by and I am so happy we have Dr. Giatis and his team following my dog’s care moving forward. Bonus points for his ability to draw the anatomy of the heart backwards so that the white board was facing me during his explanation.

Sarge sees Dr. Webb in ophthalmology, and she has been caring for him since 2020. Choosing her was the best decision we ever made! She immediately identified his issue and got us on the right path to recovery. Dr. Webb is incredibly kind, thorough, and always takes the time to listen to our concerns. Sarge even celebrated his birthday with Dr. Webb once, and she sure made it special! The entire MedVet team is so welcoming and compassionate every visit. We couldn’t ask for a better place to care for our baby and keep his vision healthy.

I will never be able to thank the whole entire staff who helped save our boys life, every single person was caring, empathetic, and just honestly all around amazing. Our boy needed emergency open chest surgery to remove a part of his lung, and stayed in the ICU unit for 2 and a half days total with surgery and aftercare. We were updated with phone calls every step of the way, and were able to call and check on him any time we wanted. I even called at like 2am and got right through to his nurse. I was able to sleep knowing my boy was in good hands before and after surgery. We are still in the recovery process but my heart will always be thankful for every single person who helped with Jimmy in any way. All of you are HEROS. Thank you again from our family & Jim jams.

I've had a really great experience with MedVet Columbus! My dog had a mast cell tumor and had to get surgery to remove it. Dr. Dudley took the time in Timmy's appointment to explain all options and answer any questions and didn't make me feel rushed or pressured to do surgery at all. Everyone on staff has been so friendly and helpful, and very patient with me being an anxious dog mom and answering my million questions. I trust everyone here and would definitely recommend them!
