I booked my hair and makeup with Megan for a photo shoot and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, her communication was excellent, and she was so warm and welcoming on the day — I instantly felt at ease, like I’d known her for years. The studio setup was fantastic, and Megan really knew how to tailor my look to suit different lighting and wardrobe changes for the best results. I left feeling the prettiest I have in years — confident and camera-ready! I did a group make-up lesson with two girlfriends and we all loved it. Megan is very down-to-earth and not at all precious; she won't react with horror if you say you only wear make-up once a year. You'll learn how to use all the products available, and Megan will help you figure out which are best to drop if you want to use fewer products. You'll put on full make-up yourself, with Megan's guidance, customised to your preferences, features, and skin type. The lessons are a really fun and informative activity that I'd heartily recommend.

A chance remark to my daughter about wishing that, as a seventy year old, I regretted never having been shown how to apply make up correctly lead to my gorgeous family then surprising me with an individual makeup session with Megan for my birthday. Walking into Megan’s beautiful studio and then meeting Meagan herself allayed my fears that I would probably not be the right fit for such a gift. Megan’s bubbly personality and her ability to listen to my concerns about scars and skin care were answered with such reassurance that I started to relax. The next two and a half hours were so informative and fun that time just flew by. Megan had me going through each step and applying my own make up thus helping me to understand my own face. The printed manual of each step also allowed me to follow through at home. She was able to match my fair skin with the right foundation, powder etc and take the focus from my scars. The thoughtful gestures of snacks, water and tea/ coffee were an added bonus. There was no pressure to purchase products either however having finally found something that worked I started out with the basics and will keep adding to them. It turns out that you can teach an old dog new tricks! Thank you Megan! You are one in a million!
