Her attention to detail is amazing, and even months later we still find ourselves looking through our ENTIRE gallery all the time. We couldn't be more grateful for the memories she captured. Our experience with Megan was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I reached out to Megan to capture our wedding til she delivered our amazing photos, I was absolutely blown away by her professionalism and kindness. Megan’s photos are the perfect balance of artistic yet timeless, light and bright yet totally natural, and she perfectly captured every moment of our Bishop Museum wedding. With our wedding being the first time my family from Hawaii and my husband’s family from the east coast could all be together in one place, we knew we wanted a photographer with a timeless style, and I’m so lucky we found our perfect photographer in Megan! She did an incredible job with both the big moments and portraits, as well as little candid moments with our family and friends. Every time I look at the photos, I am so so grateful that Megan was our wedding photographer and truly can’t believe how lucky we got! My husband and I aren’t naturally comfortable in front of a camera, so the fact that she was able to make us feel so at ease on our wedding day was incredible. She really knew how to guide us in ways that felt natural and authentic to us as a couple, and that encompassed our relationship so well. She helped us stay totally in moment during our wedding, and even our posed portraits felt so special and intimate. We are so grateful for Megan! Our wedding would not have been the same without her! I honestly cannot express how much I love Megan and her work. Our wedding photos came out so amazing, and I was so excited to share it with my friends and family. The candid/action shots are my absolute favorite because Megan somehow captured the pure happiness and joy everyone was feeling. And looking back on all the photos have all of us feel like we’re reliving the day all over again. Aside from her talent, Megan also made me and my husband feel so comfortable and relaxed during the shoot. Honestly, even if the pictures came out horrible I would have still been just happy with the experience of working with Megan. But the pictures DID came out so beautiful, especially with the lighting and angles. And most importantly, the bond I feel like we created will be something I always cherish. Again, working with Megan was such a blessing. And her soul and everything about her is amazing. I hope for anyone and everyone reading this review and contemplating working with Megan hires her immediately. Because it was one of the best choices we made for our wedding.
I'm basically crying as I write this review for Megan... she was a dream come true for my husband and I. A truly talented and dedicated artist. We booked Megan for our wedding on Maui and it was the best decision we could have made. All of our photos, and I do mean all 900 some photos, turned out light, ethereal, dreamy, and all around gorgeous. I have looked at them every single day trying to pick my favorites and it's impossible!! I love them all!! She was able to capture the all around vibe and all the tremendous love that surrounded us that day (plus the sunset shots are to die for). Megan was extremely easy to work with and she made us both feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, which is not an easy feat for my husband and I. She was always prompt in responding to my emails and many questions. Megan was a great source of advice and clarity when it came to priorities, timelines, and photo shot lists. By the time I met her on our wedding day, I felt like I already knew her and I felt even more at ease. After the wedding ,we received our photos before the expected time!! I could gush for hours, but I'll just stop here and say BOOK WITH MEGAN!! You won't regret it.
