I recently adopted a rescue dog to go along with my 5yo rescue. They both have some issues that need a bit of work, and to that end, Rose from Melbourne Dog Trainers has been utterly fantastic so far. Both of my dogs love her and seem to learn really quickly when working with her!

I have attended 1-1 classes with Erin for 10 sessions so far. My 2y old rescue jrt was very anxious, reactive and hyperactive at the start. He was never trained/walked prior so we had to start from scratch. He was reactive towards other dogs and especially big ones, which alongside obedience has been the main things we worked on. With Erin's help and the right medication, he's much calmer, happier and his reactivity has decreased significantly. He has made a couple of friends even! He is like a new dog :) We couldn't have done it without Erin's guidance and support, she's absolutely amazing and she customised the training to suit our dog, she's so passionate about what she does! I couldn't recommend her enough.

We had a very positive experience with MDT! The turn around time when making an enquiry was super quick and they were very thorough in the explanations of their many different programs offered and finding the best one that is right for your dog’s age and ability. They can also tailor private sessions specifically to your dog! All the trainers were amazing and very helpful, you can tell they love their jobs working with dogs and their owners! Big shout out to Erin who we also did some private sessions with Miss Sadie and myself, she was awesome! Erin is so passionate about dogs and her job, it really shows in way she explains and demonstrates throughout the sessions in both group and private. Thank you for being an amazing support to myself AND Miss Sadie! Cannot recommend these guys enough 🐾🥰

Layla and I have found Melbourne Dog Trainers to be great. Easy to book classes and regular reminders. Mel has been a really helpful trainer. It all seems so easy to put in place when she teaches us how to manage our dogs. Puppy socials are a terrific chance for our puppies to have supervised play sessions and teach us how to manage them off the lead. All sessions are very reasonably priced too.
