This was my first time taking a tap lesson and Jennifer, the instructor, was so patience and encouraging. I enjoyed the class. The studio was clean and bright! The beginner classes are not on a regular basis - which is a let down. But Jennifer is great!

You can't find a better dance studio! Lovely teachers. Fun recitals. They teach more than just dance... they teach etiquette, how to "sit like a dancer," and how to be respectful. They pay close attention to every little detail on technique. My daughter had a weird ankle issue and even the podiatrist I took her to was impressed with the teachers and how they noticed something was wrong. You will never regret going here. Simply the best.

This dance studio does not only teach the art of dance, but also how to be a kind, respectful person. I went here for 12 years and have since moved on to my high school’s drill team. All three of my children (1 boy & 2 girls) have attended Melva Smith's dance studio, for at least 7 years each. Fabulous experience. They truley teach the children to not only be beautiful dancers but to be beautiful young men and women.

My daughter has danced here for a year and is now entering her 2nd year. She enjoyed the hip hop class with Ms. Allison very much. She was in between the younger students and older students, so picking the class was a little tough for her. As an older girl at a beginner level, it was intimidating at first to be dancing with the older girls who have established dance training, but she acclimated over the year and ended up doing well. I would recommend this studio.
