Great communications and service with them twice. They had a delay on my 2nd order but definitely accommodated and communicated to me clearly throughout and I got what I wanted. Definitely going back, great place.

Refused to let me rent lighting equipment because I was going to pick it up in an uber while my car was in the shop. Claimed they were worried I'd steal it if they didn't have the IDs of everyone who was involved with its transport. That's just dumb.

If someone in the Richmond greater area is looking to preserve their photo and video memories, or needs a funeral video, THIS is the business for you. The minute you contact them, you can feel the empathy and trust having this business to deal with your precious memories. I did NOT want to mail my photos or videos anywhere. The first project was a video for a close family member for their funeral. It came out perfectly. (It expedites things if you pick out the music ahead and tell them the order of the pictures in the various sequences.) Kindness matters in one's time of grief, and these people are kind. The bigger project was preserving all the video of our life as a family. We took a lot of video! Memories Videography is professional, competent, and frankly a blessing to our community.

I hired Memories Videography in May 2018 for my November 2018 wedding. That was a little bit later than is normally recommended (it was a later in the process decision), and Memories was happy to accommodate me! Anne was our POC and she was a joy to work with from the first phone call. I work in video and content production, so I had a lot of opinions on the style and how it was shot and edited. The team were very accommodating and welcomed my ideas and opinions. The day of my wedding, I hardly noticed the two cameramen surrounding us all day. They captured all the best moments and honestly were never in the way. They were polite and courteous and rolled with the punches during the reception and caught some good impromptu moments. They also surprised us with a wedding gift of a drone to capture some of the birds eye shots! My husband and I had so much fun filming those with them. We got our sneak peek trailer just a few weeks after the wedding and our 7 minute cinematic a month and a half after the wedding date. That is one of the FASTEST turnarounds I've ever seen! I posted our video on Facebook and so many of my friends and guests said they had no idea I had a videographer there because they were so subtle with their filming. Not to mention it was one of the best videos they've ever seen! I will (and have already) recommend Memories to anyone I know getting married in the area. They are professional, kind, and very talented. Thank you Anne and Devonte and the rest of the crew there! We appreciate you so much.
