We had the privilege of enjoying Top Dawgz during the Annual Home & Garden Tour. I’m craving them right now. The food was delicious. Very juicy and hot. The fries were good as well. I haven’t had fries that good in a long time. You must try to the loaded French fries.
I went to this truck twice because what I want was not on the menu. The dessert was not what I expected. It was two yeast rolls with a sweet cream ($7 or $10) not worth th price. I can't remember what else I ordered which means it didn't stand out for it being my first time at the truck and cost me $60 becauseIbought a stuffed salmon saladfor my daughter. I went back because the Turkey leg with Alfredo had drawn me to the truck. The turkey leg was tender however, the Alfredo was not creamy as it should have been. It had just enough sauce to get it to stick around the turkey leg and coat $25. The food is not worth the cost. I went to a high end restaurant and paid $200, for three people had a sit down meal which was awesome, couldn't finish it and had to bring the remainder and peach pie and ice cream home. So if you see this red truck in front of Super Lo store on Perkins Ave. The prices are just too high. I do my best to support small vendors especially if they are black. This one needs to bring the prices way down. $10 - $15 maybe but to really compete with other trucks and cooks the price should between $5 and $10. This is where the Mexican trucks and more established trucks like hot wings drive out other new start vendors. You have to have a network or your cost is too high that you want to pass on to the public. There were no tables. I had to wait in my car or bare the heat.
Bay's Wings & Things. One of the best food trucks i have had. The Philly Cheese Chicken Sandwich was the best I have ever had. Perfectly seasoned and the fried are great. Not sure what spices they flavor the flies with but they were awesome. Can not wait to be back in Memphis to hit this up again.
Went for lunch with my husband. We were wanting to try some things from a couple different trucks, but glad we just picked one. We went with Bay's Wings and so happy we did! We shared the chicken egg rolls, shrimp PoBoy and 4 chicken tenders tossed in Honey Gold sauce. Both entrees came with fries and drinks. Very filling, cooked well and was nice and clean. We'd love to go back and see what the other trucks have to offer 👍
We stopped by for lunch today at 1pm. I picked up the 32 strawberry lemonade for $5; which was so refreshing with fresh real strawberries. I also had the chorizo rice bowl from Pablo's. This was delicious and very filling. Overall I spent $21 with tax and tip. Honestly a little spendy for a food truck. But very delicious. I would recommend for a quick bite.
