An incredible find! It’s so difficult to find a truly authentic Mexican restaurant offering traditional mexican cuisine, rather than Tex Mex. They had everything, all my favourite dishes from Tostadas to Mole Enchilada, finishing up with a Carajilo. The atmosphere was amazing! It was packed, and they brought out the sombrero and Mariachi music to celebrate some guests’ birthdays. My waitress Paola was a delight. All the staff were Mexican it seemed too. The food was all incredibly tasty. Would highly recommend! I’ll be back!

We had a sunday dinner as a family at Mestizo and we had a great experience. With the food was outstanding. The vegan tinga taco’s were exceptional, which my wife had encilada,s. All the food was authentic mexican. Both our waitresses were fantastic, Hatzy and Vale.

Amazing place! I went for my birthday and the atmosphere was very festive. We got a taco tray to share and the pastel de coco y queso. The food came very quickly and both were delicious! The drinks Coco Loco, Agua Horchata, and Mother Margarita were incredible! All the staff were also really friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Hugo for making our experience so memorable.

I personally hadn’t tried Mexican food before, so this was my very first experience. Starting with the appetisers, I chose tamales and jalapeño poppers. The tamales weren’t really my cup of tea. I had high expectations from what I’d seen in movies, TV shows, and YouTube videos, but they reminded me a bit of fufu with dry pork, which I didn’t enjoy as much. On the other hand, the jalapeño poppers were amazing I absolutely loved them. For the main course, I went with the five-taco sharing platter. As you can tell from the visuals, it was a generous amount of food, meant for two people. The platter cost £20 per person and was very filling. The chorizo tacos were the best in my opinion, and the real highlight for me was the sauces I loved them. However, I didn’t realise the sauces were an extra charge, which slightly put me off. Nonetheless, overall I had a good experience and enjoyed trying something new.

Had lunch here today with my husband (who’s Mexican). Food was incredible. We normally have a difficult time finding good Mexican food around Europe. My husband even said the tamales tasted just like his mom’s. Juan Carlos was our waiter and he was super friendly. Will definitely be going back as often as we can
