For Vermont climbing indoors it’s some of the best in the state (there isn’t much in the state). Tall walls, lots of routes, the staff were super friendly. What was disappointing and preventing a full 5 star review were the rental shoes and bouldering wall. Some of the rental shoes seemed to flat out period be falling apart. The ones I had were almost unusable on the wall. The bouldering wall itself was also not beginner friendly. You had very few V0 - V2 that felt like climbing ladders and then as soon as it became V3 it became significantly more difficult. The gym seems very catered to more expert climbers than beginners and intermediates. Overhaul the rental shoes, put more thought into setting bouldering routes for beginner and intermediates.

Super friendly staff and a large facility with lots of stuff to check out. Their ropes are some of the best set in Boston in my experience and although their bouldering area is a bit smaller they do a good job keeping climbs rotating and interesting. Also have to add the vibes are best in Boston - very inclusive and chill

Nice gym, friendly vibes and free liquid chalk, holds are a bit slippery but climbs are well set

Came for the climbs, stayed because my arms stopped working, and I couldn’t leave. MetroRock is the perfect mix of pain, and joy—routes are challenging in the best way, and staff members are friendly. 10/10 would fall off the wall again.

The route setting here is great! Challenging climbs at every level with cool wall features and really thoughtful route settings that push you to problem solve different climbing techniques. Love the old school vibe of the place with lots of community. Reminds me of the old school gyms. I prefer the community aspect of climbing. Love the more technical climbs for people who love climbing.
