Visited recently on a Saturday night and unfortunately the service let the experience down, which is a shame as the food and drinks themselves were very good. Shortly after arriving, a drinks tray was spilled over our table and there was no apology from the staff member involved, which immediately made things feel uncomfortable. We had been asked to sit and wait as we were early and told we could order drinks while waiting, however no one came back to take an order, which felt like a missed opportunity and set the tone for the evening. We specifically came to try the margarita flight but were told it wasn’t available as they had run out, which was disappointing, especially on a busy Saturday night. When ordering food, we were initially told a change to the dish was fine, then later told it wasn’t possible. We also received the wrong item (chilli beef fries instead of chorizo loaded fries). To finish, a service charge was added despite the issues throughout the visit, which didn’t feel appropriate given the level of service. The food itself was excellent and the drinks we did receive were very good, but the overall experience felt awkward and poorly managed, so unfortunately we wouldn’t return.

Had to go through a different route due to the fire on Union Street, last Sunday evening (8/3/26) but thanks to road and route closures, I was able to discover this wee hidden gem on Hope Street. The Day of the Dead skulls grabbed the attention of my wee goth heart! I love the whole atmosphere of the place. The stunning colours, the music and all the Mexican and skull decor was mesmerising to admire and photograph. My server was Kelsy and she was very friendly, she gave a delightful customer service experience. Took down my order with ease and it wasn’t too long. I picked the vegetarian lunchtime meal of enchiladas with chips and salad. The whole meal was delicious and that was the best salad I’ve ever ate in Glasgow. I didn’t take a photo because I was starving but the bowl was cleared. I will be back with friends.
