I hired this firm for a child support adjustment case. Michael was professional and extremely proficient in the laws surrounding child support and was able to get me exactly what I was entitled to receive by NYS standards. His rates were competitive for the area, and I would recommend using him for any of your family court needs!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I originally got Michaels name from a Facebook group where mom's had gone on and stated that they were looking for a lawyer. He was recommended more than once in more than one post and for this reason I gave his information to my best friend who was in need of an attorney for a divorce that she was about to go through and he was great for her. Who knew a year later that my husband and I would be needing his services as well. We were served the day after Christmas 2025 (on a Friday) with papers by my husbands ex-wife. We called Michael the following Monday and he met us in the office that week in between holidays. He was even available on the phone on New Years Eve when my husbands ex tried to call the cops on him. As of yesterday February 4, 2026 all is said and done. Thanks to Michael for making it so swift. Michael always stays on point when in the court room and never says more than needs to be said. Even the judge made a comment that we were represented by an excellent attorney. If you want an attorney who is going to fight for you and your family this is the one that you want to call!

Conversation started off nice, but he got very rude with me out of nowhere when I informed him that I was calling for advice after he told me about his price. This is my first time having to deal with something like this and to be talked to the way I was just talked to this morning is beyond degrading and disrespectful. Definitely don’t call in the morning if you are going to use his services!

Great salesman. Told me everything I wanted to hear when I REALLY NEEDED SOMEONE to get me in the door. Didn't represent me well in my opinion. Maybe judged me as a man too much or wasn't able to properly handle the workload for my divorce case. My case involved 2 high needs children.. I never even got to speak to the court appointed lawyer for my kids at all. My financial review and needs for the future weren't evaluated properly enough as I'm struggling to keep my head afloat. Kids were split up and he didn't even bat an eye. I eventually gave up and had to pick my battles as he said "We don't handle that here" and pushed the stack of papers back to me without looking them over. Maybe it's just NYS law in general but it's more transactional law from my experience. If your situation is simply paperwork and doesn't need to forecast needs for your financial past without child support or financial future going forward.. He will definitely be an asset. If you're needing a warrior to help battle through everything... not so much. I wish him the best of luck. Finally got out of the broken down executive building downtown and maybe things have changed since my experience.

This would be my review of Michael... Esq of Rochester NY. I have found him to be knowledgeable and fair. He stands by his clients & gives accurate advice. He listens and is respectful in & out of court. He does not abandon his clients and does his best to help & advise. I have recommended him to others who are in genuinely in need of a really good lawyer. He is a man who genuinely loves his work, cares about your outcome & will say hello to you in the street. He is a family man & feels for his clients as well.
