Our family recently did a tour with Mick exploring Northern Ireland. From the moment we booked Mick was so accommodating, adjusting tour times to meet our changing schedule. The tour itself was wonderful, and Mick was an instant friend sharing his immense knowledge and history of the country with us, and answering all of our questions. He provided excellent local and handmade refreshments and made the whole trip very special. I highly recommend Mick’s Tours if you’re ever in Northern Ireland.

Unforgettable Custom Tour with Mick’s Tours Belfast! We had an incredible experience with Mick’s Tours Belfast! Mick picked us up early at the port to ensure we made the most of our day before returning to our cruise — and he got us back with plenty of time to spare, stress-free. Mick was a great guide. He was easy to reach and communicate with prior to finalizing our plans. We learned a lot and he had a wealth of knowledge and firsthand experiences to share. The tour was completely customized to what we wanted to see, hitting all the major highlights (Giants Causeway & Peace Walls) and some hidden gems. He even helped me come up with a surprise stop for my wife — such a personal and memorable touch! His vehicle was spotless and comfortable, stocked with snacks, drinks, and even clever props to help explain the history and stories behind the sights. Mick’s knowledge, humor, and genuine warmth made it feel like we were exploring Belfast with a friend. We had an amazing time and highly recommend Mick’s Tours to anyone looking for a top-tier private experience in Belfast. We accomplished so much more than what our cruise line offered and did it on our own pace. Don’t miss out — this was one of the best parts of our entire trip!

We spent an incredible 3 days with Michael Smith from Micks Tours Belfast. On Day 1, he took the 8 of us around Belfast, stopping at the castle, Peace Wall, Belfast City Hall and the Titanic Museum. He explained what it was like to live in Belfast during The Troubles, which gave us a glimpse of the challenges during that time period. Day 2 had us going out of the city to County Antrim, stopping at Carrickfergus Castle, Glenariff Forest Park (beautiful waterfall), and Lunch at the wonderful Fullerton Arms pub. In the afternoon, we continued on to the Giants causeway (amazing place) and finished our day at the Bushmills Distillery. Between Day 2 and 3, our ship the Azamara Quest moved to Greencastle near Londonderry. Michael picked us up there and gave us a breathtaking tour of North Donegal. We visited Grianan of Aileach (8th c. stone fort), Fort Dunree, Gap of Mamore, and my favorite place of the trip, Malin Head. We ate lunch at Farren’s B, Ireland’s northern most pub. The views from Malin Head were spectacular! We finished our day at Tremone Bay beach and then Moville. Throughout all 3 days, Michael shared stories and history of his country. He gave us a very objective view of the recent history of Northern Ireland, and we appreciated his insight. We cannot recommend Michael enough as a guide. All 8 of us agreed he helped make our vacation unforgettable.

If you want a great tour guide and find yourself in Belfast, you would be hard pressed to find one better then Mick. We had one day in the area and wanted to see the countryside. We got that and much more. Mick is a real gentleman and ultimate professional. He grew up in the area so you get a very personal and passionate touch. Van is new and very comfortable. His price for 4 hours was 350 pounds. Well worth it considering he spent an extra 90 minutes with us! Contact Mick if you plan to be in this amazing city.
