Mixed bag of experiences. I first visited for a very specific engine fix I diagnosed. It was a pretty niche issue most places, like chain stores, won’t do. For that experience, it was great, quickly done, and reasonably priced. But then I went in for a more routine service: an estimate on brake pads/rotors service. The quote was unbelievably high. So much so that an authorized dealership, using higher quality OEM parts, charged much less for the same service. (It’s usually the complete opposite, with dealerships costing significantly more.) Long story short, make sure you know specifically what’s wrong or other quotes before going in as you run a risk of getting unreasonably high quotes on services. I cannot speak on the other services, like tires, oil change, etc.

Midtown Tire has taken care of me for at least 10 years. My car is a little special (2007 Saab) so they can’t do everything, but they’re great for non specialty repairs and maintenance. Always pleasant staff. Besides new tires they’ve changed oil, checked light bulbs, a few small repairs. And it’s great as a midtown resident and worked as they have a free shuttle that will take me home or to the office while they’re working on the car.

My car was finished way before the original timeline they gave me. The manager Jerome was patient and worked with me while I waited for my funds to clear and he didn’t charge me the storage fee which I really appreciate!!!! Overall great service and professionalism from the entire staff.

Great experience! The folks here are understanding, transparent on pricing and very efficient. I came in to get my tire replaced at 9AM and was told it would be done by 2:30PM… It was done at 11AM. The technicians are very knowledgeable and no one pushed for extras on the car! They even offer a shuttle service if you live less than a couple miles! Will be coming here again.

Absolutely amazing team! I came in an hour before closing with a flat tire, and they jumped into action right away. They were quick, honest, and made my day so much better the moment I walked in. Super professional and friendly, the whole team was a huge help throughout my visit. Truly a great shop!
