I had a very terrible experience tonight at Miguel's Mexican Seafood & Grill. The service was absolutely abysmal. The server was nice in the beginning and we ordered guacamole, sangria, and then proceeded to order some dinner. Once our sangria came, we never saw the server again even though the restaurant was half empty. After waiting for the server to come around and no one checking on us. Someone brought our food and quickly dropped it and ran off before we could ask for anyone. Finally we asked for a manager from a busser. I watched as the busser went to the back and told the staff/manager and the manager did not come until AFTER my fellow diner got up and went to the bar to get a refill herself. When the manager finally came over she apologized for the server and then asked if we wanted free dessert. No - we didn't want free. We wanted service. My food was cold by then. I just decided to eat it. After the manager came, the server did not come to our table again until he asked to close the check. He didn't ask if my fellow diner wanted another drink. He then closed the check and did not return. Turns out they comp'd my meal but didn't even tell me until we saw the check. You would think they would tell you they would do that. Anyway - a terrible service encounter and probably the last time I dine at Miguel's. Train some servers and get new managers. They desperately need it. Their food is way too expensive to be offering such bad service.

Came here for a business trip with hubby. Wowza! The food was phenomenal! We sat at the bar. Came on a Friday in January. The place was pretty busy. Sat outside. Ambience was wonderful. Hubby and I shared the Lobster, Steak, and Chicken Fajitas. Delicioso! 👌 Service fantastico. Margaritas magnificent! All in all all, estupendo!

I honestly never leave reviews, but it was very bad. My refried beans tasted completely burnt, and then the meat and the enchiladas were completely raw. This may just be a preference thing, but they didn’t really cut up any vegetables. We ordered ceviche and it was just whole tomatoes and the onions were just in rings, so none of the flavors got mixed together. And I had a salad and nose basically the same our server was really nice though, but the service was also pretty slow. The environment is really nice.

Miguel’s Seafood in Tampa is a must-try! The salsa alone is worth the visit — fresh, flavorful, and absolutely amazing. I ordered the seafood empanada and it was delicious, packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Great food, great service, and an overall awesome experience. Highly recommend!

When in Tampa, this is our favorite Mexican restaurant for lunch or dinner. I had shrimp enchiladas with charro beans and rice that were sooooo delicious. My wife enjoyed chicken quesadillas with fresh guacamole. Waiter Nate provided attentive service too. . .
