They are knowledgeable and patient! I bought my first guitar and gear here when I was very young. I used to come in every week to pay on my layaway. It's great to see Mike Carey's still in business! Recently, I brought in my Ibanez to get rebuilt and now it sounds awesome. I literally brought them a plastic bag with the guitar completely disassembled, mixed in with the remains of another lesser guitar. I highly recommend their service and equipment.

Mike and Kenny helped me fix my great grandpas old record player, and even though we ran into a couple issues, they would not give up on me until they were able to fix it and now it plays great!! I’m eternally grateful for all of their help and kindness with me and my mom while we tried to resolve all of the issues our old record player had. I would never imagine choosing any other place to go for anything music related in the future. Not only were they quick with communication to me about what was going on but they were quick to fix it up and get it home to me as well! I can’t thank them enough ❤️

Have known Mike for many many years now. Took lessons when I was a kid. Just picked up this beautiful custom Stratocaster from him! Takes care of the customer very well. Will continue to give him the business for a long time! Thank you so much Mike!

The absolute best place for your musical needs!!! It has been the ONLY place myself and my family have gone to for as long as I can remember. Buying something new, selling something old, or learning a new instrument, this place does it all!!! Pretty much anything you can think of musically, Mike has it. And if he doesn't, he'll order it for you for the same price or less than you can find online! Then you'll have an actual human to help you with your new equipment when you go to pick it up instead of hoping and praying you do things right when you order online. Supporting local business is something I pride myself on, but with Mike Carey it's not even a question of looking online or at a catalog or big box store, because they have nothing on Mike. He helps you figure out exactly what you're looking for when you're thinking about purchasing a new instrument and will help you sell your old one too! I simply cannot recommend this store highly enough! Do yourself a favor and get in there already!!!
