Great place to buy mango trees on roots that will grow well in California! They don’t ship their mango trees from Florida. The Florida grown varieties on Turpentine rootstock don’t generally do well here. All their grafted mangos are on Manila or other seedling rootstock. I called around and Mimosa Nursery is one of the very few that do their own propagation of mangos on Manila rootstock. Nice looking plants! Wide variety of trees. They also sell seedling mangos if you want to graft for a good price.

Very good selection of fruit trees that are very hard to find. They sell citrus trees which hardly any one else in the area is able to do. They keep them in a separate green house that no one is allowed to enter except the employees. If there's a type that you want, they will bring it to a window for you to view. They will not bring it out until you have agreed to purchase it. Most of the trees have been grafted to trees that normally grow in the local soil conditions so be prepared to pay top dollar. We bought keow savoy mango and star ruby grapefruit. All sales are final so take a good look at what you are buying before you pay. Overall it a good experience but the staff, I am assuming owners, are not very personable.

We weren't sought out by employees to be greeted or followed around as we had been at other local nurseries. The variety was massive and everything was very well organized. We had to find someone to get us what we were looking for because of the rules surrounding citrus trees. We got what we went there for and during the checkout process, the gentleman was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us advice on how to care for our new bush. He also gave us advice on maintaining the existing plants/trees that we have. The selection was great, we'll be back.

Mimosa nursery is the place to go for all your fruit trees. They have a lot of tropical fruit trees that you can't find elsewhere.Their prices are good, especially when they have sales. They have so many roses too. Loved their King palms. You have to check this nursery out if you love planting trees. Oh they have non fruit trees as well. As long as you have a CUV or an SUV, they will package the trees securely so that you can transport them home.
