We came across Mitchell Fine Art while strolling around the gallery neighbourhood of Fortitude valley. Being from Sydney we had not been familiar with the Gallery. Meeting Mike and Sharon was a fantastic experience. Nothing was too much trouble, they gladly got numerous pieces out for us to look at and their knowledge of indigenous artists was invaluable in helping us purchase a piece by Walungkura Napanangka. To our surprise, when we received the piece , accompanying it was a series of original photos , I assume Mike had taken of the Walungkura many years ago depicting her at different stages of painting our actual piece.
