Choosing Maria was one of the best decisions anyone could make! Her calming presence the morning of your wedding is exactly what you’ll want. I felt extremely relaxed and grateful to have someone chilled doing our hair and makeup. Maria and her team did hair and makeup for 7 bridal party members and 6 guests and they were a dream to work with. We didn’t give Maria much inspiration photos to work with but she took our words and did exactly what we wanted and more!! It was a pleasure working with Maria and I couldn’t recommend her enough!!

I cannot recommend MJ highly enough! She did my makeup for my wedding, and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment she arrived, she brought such a calming and positive energy, which made all the difference on such an emotional day. She listened carefully to what I wanted and somehow managed to create the perfect look that was both natural and radiant, while still feeling like the very best version of myself. The makeup lasted beautifully all day (and night!) through happy tears, dancing and endless hugs. I received so many compliments, and when I look back at the photos, I feel so grateful that I had her talent and artistry on my side. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she’s also kind, professional and truly cares about her clients. Thank you MJ for making me feel so confident and beautiful on one of the most important days of my life!

I had the best experience with Maria as my makeup artist for my wedding. She made me feel so beautiful and confident on my big day. My makeup looked flawless in person and in photos, and it lasted the entire day without any touch-ups. She listened to what I wanted and brought my vision to life perfectly. Having Maria was truly the best decision I made for my wedding. From the moment I met her, I knew she would bring the calming presence I needed on such a big day. She was incredibly professional, arrived on time fully prepared, and had an amazing eye for detail. What impressed me most was how she went above and beyond her role—anticipating last-minute needs and even finding the perfect hairstylist to work alongside her for my wedding party. She did hair and makeup for me, my mom, and my sister, and we all felt so beautiful and comfortable. My makeup lasted flawlessly for over 10 hours, and the only touch-ups I needed were because my outfit change required pulling the dress over my head (just a quick hair fix and a bit of lip color). Everything still looked stunning, and I received endless compliments throughout the night. She has many skills in makeup but the way she contoured was one that really stood out to me - when I mentioned this to her, she took out her mirror to show me how she did it - so sweet of her! Not only did I love working with her, but my whole family adored her too—they kept saying they wanted to invite her (and her family!) over because she felt like one of us. That warmth, combined with her talent and professionalism, makes her someone I would recommend 1000% to anyone. I can’t imagine my wedding without her, and I truly feel like I’ve found my makeup artist for life. I’m so grateful to have met her and couldn’t recommend her more highly!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Maria for my wedding two weeks ago. From the initial correspondence, to the trial, to the wedding day, Maria is quick to respond, and thorough with her work. As someone who considers putting mascara on as doing makeup for an event, I wanted to still feel like myself, but trust a professional to do what I knew I couldn't. Myself, my mother, my mother-in-law, four bridesmaids and flower girl all relied on Maria and her team of Rhema and Dwija to make us feel like our best self, and they absolutely did. None of us wear much makeup day to day (if any), or style our hair and were able to feel confident and comfortable. In fact, we did a hike in the middle of our wedding day, and still were all still intact hair and makeup wise for family portraits after the hike (and crying at the ceremony). We also had a very shy 4 year old flower girl with us, who was very excited to be included in the festivities that morning. Maria and her team made her feel so special and included, and even put some lip gloss and highlighter on to make her feel like she got to get her makeup done too (when only scheduled for hair). During the trial, Maria was so open and understanding. As someone who is shy to speak up, she insisted I tell her anything I wanted to change, and with a few minor tweaks, on personal opinion things like lip colour, we were able to nail down the perfect look quickly. I can't thank Maria enough for her help through this whole process. I would highly recommend Maria to anyone getting married or looking for a hair and makeup artist for any event!
