Miley and her team are great. Very clean and professional environment. Been coming here to see them for over a year, every bit of work I have had done I am so proud of and so ready to show off to friends and family. Do yourself a favor and don’t go anywhere else this place is A+++
The atmosphere of the tattoo shop is extremely welcoming. Everybody is very nice, I felt comfortable being in there. I went to Bella. Bella is so sweet, kind, informative, detailed. Her work is amazing, she is very thorough and truly cares about what she does. I will be coming back!!
Went in for my first tattoo. It was a walk in and the workers working were so nice and welcoming. Bella was great and helpful. I love her artwork and she did amazing job for the inspiration picture I had. Would come again!
My husband and I wanted matching tattoos for our anniversary, so we went on the hunt for a tattoo place and an artist that had a style we both liked in Milwaukee. This would be my second tattoo, but my husband’s first one. We ended up getting black and white tattoos with shading in a medium size on each of our arms. We decided on making an appointment with Miley. She was booking out, but we were OK waiting because we really liked her specific style. We told her we wanted Godzilla and Mothra tattoos that could match, but left the design up to her. When we arrived the day of, Miley had multiple beautiful designs for us to choose from, and helped us decide on the best placement options and mixed and matched the designs for us to ensure we had exactly what we wanted. She was friendly, flexible, kind, and attentive throughout. I always felt comfortable enough to ask questions or ask for a break or pause if I needed it. (Please see the detailed section for more about Miley!) The studio space she used was clean and extremely tidy. There were snacks and drinks available just in case, and the room was climate controlled with good music. My husband runs warmer than me, so for his tattoo, we were able to cool down the room, and then warm it back up for mine. To cover the tattoo while healing, Miley used a second skin product, but she also had the traditional plastic wrap available. She explained the differences in both so we could make an informed decision on which to choose. Detailed instructions for aftercare were given, as well as a specific cream for healing the tattoos. I felt confident in my ability to care for the tattoo after I left the studio. Altogether, it was a wonderful experience and I am excited for the possibility of going back for another tattoo with Miley in the future. I highly recommend her, you will be in very good hands with her. As an aside, we got our tattoos in an office separate from the usual Ghostlight Tattoo Parlor, so the physical environment I described here is a bit different from the usual shop (it was a bit smaller, fewer plants, but served well for one artist with one or two people, located in the Third Ward instead of the Lower East Side neighborhood). The actual parlor is also very nice and has a lot of plants and more space with more artists working at the same time. I’ve attached a photo of my tattoo, but my photo quality is not the best and the tattoo is still healing, so I am hoping to be able to edit this review once I can get a photo of the healed tattoo.
If you’re looking for a good artist look no further! Christina does AMAZING work. She’s done over 5 of my tattoos. I love her work and she’s super light handed which is great. First time I ever got tattooed by her I didn’t even know she started cause I didn’t feel anything and that says a lot cause it was one of my first tattoos. She’s very creative so if you don’t know exactly what you want but have ideas she will design something that will fit your wants/needs. I can honestly say she’s one of my favorite artists I’ve gone to. Every time I leave her chair she exceeds my expectations.
