4 stars because sometimes a 5 and sometimes a 3. My first visit a few months ago, one tech did my hands and one my feet. Nails were perfect, toenails not so much. My first manicure tech (Tracy) was also my most recent, and she did an equally perfect job! My second most recent trip, I had booked with her but due to a double booking, the lady who I think is maybe the owner (?) did my hands, and they turned out excellent then also, plus I felt like she actually gave my hands attention which is rare for manicures these days. I wish I could recall her name- she was very nice and made sure I was taken care of after the double booking. 2 or 3 visits between my first and these 2 most recent ones, I was not impressed with the work of the other techs I had. One time was really bad peeling, and I was surprised to have been charged when I went back to get them redone. Another time my gel bubbled and they fixed that for me without charging. Overall, I like the salon, the ladies are nice, and the pedicures are clean. I just get simple gel, no designs, but I’m very particular about full, smooth coverage and will stick with the last two ladies because my nails look great and stay looking good for the right amount of time. Prices are reasonable!

Everyone that works at MLV Nails salon is nice and welcoming. They have an extremely clean salon with professional employees. They always leave my Nails looking incredible.

OMG Emma, Tracy, Kathy and Tammy are AMAZING. The way they greet their customers no matter if you are a new or recurring customer they are sure you feel welcomed. I was here visiting and recommend this salon to anyone needing service. Me and my husband had the BEST experience and will definitely come again when we are in town. We wish we could bring them back to NC with us.

It’s hard to find a local nail salon that does quality work, has affordable prices, AND has friendly customer service. I had the best pedicure today and also received a full set. I was happily surprised when I got to the register and was told there was a special on the gel, making my experience today even more affordable. This is my new nail shop now! I highly recommend.

This was my first dipping powder nail appointment at MLV Nail Salon. Traci did a great job with my nails. Living between Fort Lauderdale, Florida and New Orleans it was important to find a nail salon in NOLA that I can trust to deliver great service, skilled nail techs, clean environment & properly sterilized tools when i am in NOLA. MLV salon delivered on all of that plus the staff are friendly and very welcoming. I recommend MLV salon.
