The staff there were pleasant people who treated everybody with respect. The clock tower was fascinating and the museum provided great visuals of QLD’s history.

Great place to buy locally made jewellery, ceramics and souvenirs. One of my favourite places to shop in Brisbane and I can pop into the Museum when I’m there!

The Museum of Brisbane shop is a treasure inside Brisbane City Hall. It has a small but well curated book section, focuses on SEQ designers and artisans, and generally has a great selection of gifts including hand made jewellery and ceramics. Staff are super helpful and will gift wrap if you ask.

One of my favourite shops in all of Brisbane. When you visit a museum shop you expect to find bad quality fridge magnets and generic postcards, but this store is a hidden gem for gifts, as well as amazing postcards (designed by local artists). They're not for profit, and support the local artist community!
