Love this place! It's so cute with plants, a large variety of books, and gifts/merch options. If they don't have what you are looking for they can order it for you with a pretty quick turn around. The staff is always friendly and helpful and give great recommendations. I love supporting local businesses and this cozy store makes it even more fun to shop local.

very cute book selection with lots of trinkets as well !!! prices were pretty average for book stores (ie around $20 for a hard cover) they also had positions by ariana grande on their little vinyl rack which is the best album ever go stream positions for clear skin, 10/10 we stan this place for that alone periodd

One of my favorite places in the entire world – truly a KC treasure! Monstera's Books is so much more than a bookstore – it's a full experience. The gorgeous green plants, the thoughtfully curated selection of new and used books, the plants and gifts for sale, and the warm, knowledgeable staff all come together to create something truly magical. Every time I visit I find something new and wonderful to take home. The team genuinely know books and love what they do, and that passion fills every corner of the shop. An absolute must-visit in the KC metro area!
