HOW ON EARTH COULD SOMEONE BE MOODY IN A PLACE LIKE THIS???!!!! Lady next to me was giving this place a two star review…and for WHYYYY???? Seeing great piece of the pie (theater show) and listening with your little ears…sweet music🙏
My daughter and I enjoyed the beautiful background of the Moody Performance Hall while listening to The Texas Boys Choir and Singing Girls of Texas. We enjoyed these performers in the lobby of Moody Performance Hall.
A beautiful and intimate venue for live music, theater, and cultural events in Dallas. Moody Performance Hall combines modern architecture with excellent acoustics, making every performance feel close and personal. The staff are professional, and the space is always well organized and inviting. Whether it’s a symphony, local band, or dance show, it’s one of the best places in the city to enjoy the arts in a refined yet accessible setting.
This place is a GEM. I loved how very quaint and beautiful the space was as a whole. Because of its size, the incline seating arrangements make it possible to capture a decent view of the stage no matter where you sit. Staff are very kind and helpful. Concessions (snacks, soft drinks and mixed cocktails) are offered during intermission. There is street parking directly in front of the venue (1 hour limit) and parking garages nearby starting at $20. I had the pleasure of viewing the New Texas Symphony Orchestra. A very big THANK YOU to its founder, Dr. Kathryn Brownlee for her vision—making Symphonic art available to every economic group (the shows are 100% free). It was my first symphony & the performance was phenomenal. I will be back to see the other performances in this facility. Support the arts! 🎭
where do I start... NO AC. the place was super hot, it had a horrid , the staff never ofer water or ice or fans to the kid that went there to perform. the manager did not care she said they reported and that is all. chidren almost pastout do the hot tempeture back stage and in the audience they had to help a lady that become overheated. the even was for all the kids dancing Mexican folk. August 9 2025 just yesterday unbelivable the amount of disrespect by this moody perfomarce hall. even the even host where geting heat exhaustion because most of them are old. SHAME ON MANAGMENT NOT SHOWING ANY SIGNS OF CARE LET ALONE PROVIDE A SAFE PLACE FOR PERFOMANCE AND AUDIANCE. NEVER AGAIN.
