I visited Moon Valley Nurseries today with my three kids, and I want to start by saying they have a vast selection of plants, trees, and shrubs—honestly more than I could even fully explore in one visit. That said, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. The environment felt very impersonal from the moment we walked in. There was no greeting, no guidance on how the nursery is laid out, and no one offered to help us find anything. We passed multiple employees and not a single one acknowledged us. What concerned me the most was the lack of awareness for customer safety—especially with children. Employees were driving modified golf carts through the aisles without any warning or consideration for guests. There were no heads-ups, no slowing down, and no apologies when passing close by. Thankfully my kids listen well, but that shouldn’t be something a customer has to rely on. Customer experience matters just as much as product selection, and unfortunately, this location missed the mark completely. Even if they had exactly what I needed, I wouldn’t feel comfortable spending money here based on this experience alone. If you’re going to offer such a large selection, there should be an equal focus on creating a welcoming and safe environment for your customers.
