I’ve had a great experience with Moon Valley Nurseries on Eastern Avenue in Henderson. It’s become my go-to place for landscaping needs. They Planted My Trees When I bought trees in 24-inch boxes, Moon Valley’s crew handled the digging, planting, mulching, and cleanup. They applied their Supercharged Moon Juice and Landscape Soil Conditioner to help my trees establish in the desert climate. My installer arrived on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up well. He was friendly and helpful throughout the process. Good Selection The multi-acre facility has a solid inventory—thousands of specimen trees including Chilean mesquite, Palo Verde, tropical palms, shade trees, citrus, magnolias, and Japanese blueberry trees. I was able to find everything I needed for my landscape project in one visit. They offered me a golf cart tour, which made browsing in the heat much easier. Free Design Help I was having trouble figuring out my backyard design. Their designer came to my house, listened to what I wanted, and put together a plan that worked well. The project was done within two weeks. Getting a free consultation like this saved me time and money. They Understand Desert Landscaping The staff gave me useful advice on watering schedules for different temperatures and recommended plants that do well in our climate. Their knowledge of what works here has been helpful. Quality Trees Their trees are grown longer than typical nurseries and develop in custom soil blends. The difference in quality compared to other places I looked was noticeable. Friendly Service The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. They followed up after installation to check that everything was good. It felt like they cared about the outcome. Good Warranty The 90-day warranty can extend to 15 months with their Weather Protection Plan, including free replacement and installation if needed. They also include free double staking. I’ve been happy with Moon Valley and would recommend checking them out for your landscaping needs.
Kyle did an outstanding job recommending a shade tree for our front yard. The whole experience was wonderful. Kyle knows how to take care of you and making sure your project is going to work in your area making valuable and time saving recommendations. Daniel and his team did a great job planting the tree. We can’t wait to see the tree grow over the next few years!
I’ve visited and met with Darin a couple of times to select trees for my backyard. He has been extremely patient and diligent in following up while I went through my decision making process and had some personal things come up (car repairs and foot surgery). Everything was written and explained clearly, including the additional warranty I added on. He knew the right trees to select for my yard with rocky terrain and windy conditions. This aligned with my landscapers’ recommendations as well. Darin has a cool computer program that can picture the trees in the yard to see how they would look. Just send him a photo of the yard and he sends back how the trees will take shape. It was really helpful because I was curious too as I’m trying to get the right placement and canopies for sun shade, plus my neighbor has solar panels that reflect a lot of afternoon sunlight. I’m looking forward to the pistache trees being installed in the backyard and an olive tree in the front. I may also add on some other things in the future, like a crepe myrtle !
Amazing experience from start to finish thanks to Darin for giving me an excellent deal! He helped picked the right tree to replace our old one and even suggested a couple of plants to compliment it. Delivery and planting was smooth along with their timely updates. Very kind and professional people. Left our property clean afterwards. Highly recommend!
