Im a bit frustrated with my experience here. I should've followed my first instinct when the provider try to reschedule last min before the interview. I went through mutiple sessions just to be pressured and made feel less than. Im already vulnerable and looking for assistance and it takes alot of courage for people to ask for help. It felt like the provider wanted me to cancel. No empathy or care when I asked what prompt this. I dont understand how people get in these fields but don't want to help people who need it. I left worse than when I started and ended up having a whole breakdown.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I want to take the time to let everyone know how exceptional Dr. Aldra Forrester is. Dr. Forrester is, by far, the most professional and knowledgeable psychologist I have ever met. I highly recommend her.

Don’t schedule with Aldra Forrester. I had a very poor experience with her. She does not know how to communicate effectively and provide proper explanations. She sabotaged the rapport in our meeting. When I asked to speak to the owner about a simple billing question, she kept doing very odd things to delay the actual session to waste time and prevent access to speaking with owner within a reasonable timely manner. I explicitly asked her to not remove my documents from the table and from my view (until I spoke to the owner and they were shred). She took my confidential information and documents to another room to hide them and I don’t know what she did with them when they were out of my sight. I have this on audio recording. This is not transparent and honest. Also, when I refused multiple times to give her my phone number she left the room and she found it somewhere after I told her I was not going to give it to her (against my wishes) further escalating the issues; I recorded this interaction as well as it was very unpleasant. Very unprofessional. (Dr Moore seemed like a very nice lady and was very professional when I spoke with her about my concerns.)

Dr. Moore is absolutely incredible. She is so knowledgeable and takes a practical approach. She helped me develop great coping mechanisms to issues i was experiencing. She is also a great listener. Without a doubt, I would recommend Dr. Moore if you are looking for a new therapist.

This week my children were assessed by The Moore Mental Heath & Behavior practice. I called the practice to request a psychological within a narrow scheduling time. I was given an appointment without any hesitation. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the staff and the thorough assessment of my children. The children seemed comfortable and calm when they completed the session. The doctor was transparent about the length of the session but they were accommodating during the wait time.
