I took private ACT prep classes to boost my ACT score, and it worked! After only a few classes, I was able to boost my score from a 32 to a 34, and all of my most difficult sections increased in score by a lot. My tutor was very kind and helpful in answering all of my questions during our sessions as well. Super helpful and would definitely recommend!
I have used the services from More Than A Teacher for all four of my children. Taylor has worked with us on tutoring and preparing my children for the ISEE and ACT tests. When Taylor wasn’t available he place my child with someone he felt would pair well with their personality. All were successful and they did well for us. I will continue to use their services for prep or tutoring in the future and highly recommend this company. They are awesome!
We have been working with More Than A Teacher for several years now. They were initially recommended by our children's school. Both our kids have worked with Taylor and after meeting with him just one time, they were set with who they wanted to work with going forward. Our son went through ACT prep and our daughter worked with him on ACT prep as well as Math and Physics. Our kids have different learning styles from one another and Taylor has done a great job focusing on their needs and simply put, helps make difficult content seem easier. And with ACT prep, our experience with one on one practice and prep allowed our kids to feel more comfortable with the exam and they saw their scores improve significantly from their first exam. We are grateful to have been pointed in their direction.
I did research on potential tutoring facilities to assist with my son's preparation for the ACT. Fortunately he takes standardized tests quite well. Regardless, I wanted him to be as prepared as possible. The sessions were organized, always started and finished on time and Taylor and his team were exceptional on all fronts. The practice test he took in advance of the actual test was very good and my son was given plenty of tips to assist him when it came to taking the actual test. In the practice test he scored well, however, in the actual ACT he scored three points higher than his practice test. I believe that the increase in his score is directly attributable to the More Than A Teacher prep classes, tips/pointers and the practice test itself. I highly recommend More Than A Teacher and wish your kids well as they prepare for any tests they are taking.
