We used Mosaic for our wedding on 9/27. We did station style service with 4 different stations. We were supposed to have chicken biscuits served, but they were on slider rolls instead. Annoying but fine. However, we found out later from friends that they ran out of the chicken sliders. I was completely embarrassed that they ran out of a main food item for the last few tables. For the amount of money we paid, and the guarantee that there will “plenty of food”, this was absolutely disappointing. They should not run out of anything period. The cornbread served with the BBQ station was hard and inedible. My aunt was also supposed to get a special gluten free meal and she never received it. Overall, the fact that one of my guests never got a meal and that they ran out of chicken sliders made me feel like it was not worth the amount of money we spent on Mosaic Catering.

We had an excellent experience with Mosaic as our wedding caterer from start to finish. While there was some account team turnover, everyone was incredibly patient and professional throughout the contract review process, quote building, and all of our adjustments along the way. John was especially thorough, kind, and a pleasure to work with. The entire team truly helped bring our vision to life—especially the amazing raw bar during cocktail hour—and executed every detail flawlessly.

We used Mosaic for our fall wedding in 2025 and they were fantastic to work with! The food, from apps to signature drinks, to speciality desserts, was delicious. The team, shoutout to Billy, was well organized and accommodating. They asked thoughtful questions to make the perfect menu and were always open to ours! Day of, they were professional and impressed the guests. Thank you, Mosaic!

I booked Mosaic Catering for my wedding after tasting their food at the Richmond Wedding Expo, and judging by the many compliments from all of our guests, we clearly made the right decision! John Lilley worked with us from beginning to end to create a menu for dinner, choose cocktail hour appetizers, answer my many questions, and ensure we had everything we needed for an amazing party. Mosaic’s prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service, and they made sure everyone had more than enough to eat. The servers were amazing, and I was very glad I had added the wine table service, as it made drinks during dinner very easy for everyone. Their bartenders helped keep the vibes high and Mosaic kindly accommodated my groom’s request for a specific beer. John even brought the wedding party food from the cocktail hour as he knew we would be taking photos and miss out otherwise - just another example of the amazing service from this team. Overall, I cannot recommend Mosaic Catering enough, if you’re looking for delicious food and great service, this is the caterer for you!

We worked with Tim from Mosaic for our wedding catering and he was exceptional! From our inquiry/first meeting through to the wedding day, he was very communicative, responding to my emails very timely (nearly immediately), always providing helpful information and really listening to what we wanted. He was knowledgeable about all of the options Mosaic could offer and always answered my questions thoroughly. Our guests were raving about how delicious the food was and how quick the service was to be served and then plates cleared (we had a plated dinner for 155 guests)! The bartenders were also super speedy to make drinks and very friendly to our guests. Would highly recommend hiring Mosaic for your wedding catering if you're in the market! And thank you, Tim, for making the process and day-of run so smoothly!
