My daughter started dance at Motions in the 4th grade it was highly recommended to me since we were new to town and trying to find something for her to do and she wanted dance. Since starting at motions her self confidence has improved and I couldn’t ask for better dance instructors then what she has. They are always encouraging them to do their best and they will also correct them if they make a mistake.

Motions has been a wonderful experience for us. My daughter has been dancing there for 8 years. The teachers and Mrs Melissa have made it such a positive experience. My daughter has been dancing with a lot of the same girls for years and its a great dance community. I like that the music and costumes are age appropriate. Motions is a great place and I would highly recommend it! I’m so thankful her daycare recommended it to us!

Motions has truly become my second home!! I started dancing when I was 5, and from that moment on, I knew I wanted to dance for the rest of my life!! Melissa, and all the other teachers, sparked a huge passion for dance in me! Some of my fondest memories from preschool all the way to my graduation happened in this studio! I found lifelong friends, and a true family here!! I can’t imagine being anywhere else!! The greatest blessing of all is that now I get to pass along my love of dance to the next generation of wonderful dancers!!!

I began dancing at Motions when I was in first grade, and continued to do so all the way through high school. Motions is the perfect fit for all ages, as teachers always choose age-appropriate choreography, music, and costumes. I was provided with a wide variety of classes to learn from, and all of my teachers had a vast amount of knowledge and experience in the dance world. It is difficult to put into words the love and gratitude I have for this studio. I never once felt judged by any instructor, but rather encouraged, and was always excited to come to class. There is, of course, a positive emphasis on becoming a strong dancer and improving technique, but the main focus was, and still remains, on finding your passion for dance. Melissa and every other instructor I had at Motions truly fostered in me a love for dance that I still carry with me, even though I have since graduated. That love also comes from the amazing friendships that I made throughout my time at Motions. Especially during high school, I was able to dance with the most caring and inspiring people that still remain some of my best friends today. My favorite memories definitely come from my senior year of high school, where we put on an original ballet that I am so proud of. There were definitely hardships that came from dancing during a pandemic, but Melissa and all of her teachers worked very diligently to give us the opportunity to have a safe, live performance during our recital at the end of the year. As a dancer at Motions, I learned the importance of hard work, time management, and teamwork. My daughter has been dancing at Motions for the past four years and my youngest and I recently started the Twogether class too. Motions has been a warm and steady dance studio for our family and my daughter has loved dancing there with her friends from school. It is fun to watch how her love of dancing has grown over the years. She has fun, learns ballet and tap dance moves and positions along with the art of staying focused, and I have a trusted place to send her for classes each week! Win-win for us both. She even had one of her birthday party's at the studio, fun for all!
