Make sure you get a bid from more than just Mr. Handyman. Fortunately, I got several. I was quoted $7,000.00 by Mr. Handyman for a $2,000.00 project. This was a very unprofessional and disappointing experience. Perhaps there was a miscommunication on the project to be done but after emailing Mr. Handyman about my experience and not receiving a response, I think this is a fair assessment. Needless to say, I did not have the work done by Mr. Handyman after receiving the overinflated quote. Best of luck with your next bid.

Jeff from Mr. Handyman was prompt, professional, and clean. He did the jobs we needed (5 in all!) in only 4 hours. I’m going to hire him again, and recommend Mr. Handyman to all! He installed a complicated light fixture in under an hour. (In the photo, the light fixture is without bulbs because I had the wrong ones.)
