We had a wonderful experience on the Old Montreal walking tour. The historical background of the city was fascinating and really brought Old Montreal to life. Louise was an outstanding tour guide; extremely knowledgeable, passionate about Montreal’s history, and a fantastic storyteller. She was also very considerate of the weather and made sure everyone stayed comfortable and safe along the way, which we truly appreciated. This tour is highly recommended for anyone visiting Montreal and wanting to understand the city beyond just the sights.

Excellent two-hour walking tour of the Montreal underground city. The guide, Gabriela, was informative and knew a lot about the city, its history, culture, and highlights. Though we’ve been to Montreal more than a dozen times over the years, we still learned new things. The tour is fast paced, requires walking nearly four miles, and involves going up and down stairs. It was snowing lightly during our tour so the walking at a fast clip was a bit tricky. This is not a tour for the very young or those with mobility issues.

This walking tour was exceptional! We learned so much about Montreal’s history, stopped at tons of interesting landmarks, and got great tips about things to do in Montreal in general. Our tour guide, Darren, really made the tour! He was great!!

Sylvia was our tour guide and she was fabulous! It was a cold morning and she adjusted to it and was able to bring us indoors here and there to warm up while seeing some very cool architecture. We learned so much of Montreal's history and Sylvia also gave us some new ideas of attractions to visit. We would have never seen or learned so much of Montreal exploring on our own, highly recommend!

Our guide Martin was a wealth of information, very passionate about Montreal and interesting to listen to. We got lots of information about the sights we were seeing as well as the history of the city. Martin has set a high bar for all other guides. He also provided us with a helpful list of restaurants, bars and places of note to visit. We went to a Speakeasy later that day that he had recommended and we would never have found it otherwise. Martin is a gem and we very much enjoyed this tour.
