I took a group of my older adult clients from Ann Arbor to the Museum of Illusions in Detroit today. We had a blast. The museum is great for people of any age. There were children and adults and seniors. Everyone was having so much fun. It was like we all became kids again. Highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were close by every time we had a question and patiently explained things to us. Booking our tour was also very easy. I purchased our tickets in advance. The process was convenient and fast. If you have children, or want to have an office outing or something fun to do with family or friends, or an interesting idea for a date, this museum is the place!

Awesome museum. Went early on a Saturday to beat the crowd and purchased our tickets in advance. The staff was very friendly and informative. (The tunnel was the hardest thing to do because it really messes with your equilibrium.) Great thing to do on a cold winter day!

We booked the earliest slot for a Saturday morning and we were able to scoot in quickly. Parking was plentiful in the area. This was fun not only for the kids, but also us adults. The vortex tunnel is trippy. 🤯 The staff is helpful with photos and explanations of the exhibits. We got through in about 45 minutes.

This place was a very cool treat to see...😉...Took my children for a family experience and it delivered. Very interactive. A lot of setups for you to take pictures for memories of the cool illusion and/or effects their displays had. A great place to relax and enjoy for an hour or two with the family. Staff were very friendly and helpful and very present. Just an overall great experience!

First time going to Detroit museum of illusions with my son and friends. Definitely fun for kids. Friendly staff. They have lockers for your stuff or coats. Not very big lockers. And it's a roll of the dice. If your locker you picked, works or not. They have push button locks on them. But they dont all work. So take your valuables with you. Lots of interactions inside the museum. Fun for the kids. Lots of mirror illusions. A walk through with exploring everything takes about 45 mins. to an hour plus. Depending on fast or slow you go. Cuz there's always crowd behind you. Ticket prices are a bit pricey. And the merch at the gift shop way over priced. I wouldn't buy anything there. You can get cheaper on Amazon. But it was worth an experience. Maybe once or twice.
