My son is learning to play the clarinet here, and my niece taught here. The staff are friendly, especially the store manager, Joey. My son's teacher, Lee, is wonderful. They offered lessons during the day, evenings, and weekends, which is very convenient. My only complaint is their repair shop. We sent in my son's clarinet to repair a slightly bent bar on October 26, 2025. The estimate that they returned included many repairs that the clarinet did not need since it was newly refurbished by a very reputable store near the University of Michigan. Additionally, the one repair that we requested was not listed. The turnaround time given was 3 weeks. I called our local store to let them know that we did not want any repairs except the one that we requested. It is now December 3, 2025, and we have not yet received back our son's clarinet. So, I wholeheartedly recommend Music and Arts for lessons, but recommend avoiding their repair shop.

Joey and another gentleman were so awesome. I called ahead because I have three little girls and was curious how long the return process took. The second I walked in they tried to ring up the violins as fast as possible and were so kind throughout the whole process! The kind of customer service I received is rare these days. These dudes were the real deal!

Such friendly and knowledgeable folks! Chris (sp?) and Joey provided excellent customer service when my mom had a busted string on her fiddle. Chris fixed it right there on the spot while Joey chatted with us about music and gave us some great advice! We're so glad we came in!
