I have done many sessions of Music Together led by Miss Miriam with my grandchildren. We always had a great time. Miriam is an enthusiastic leader whose love of music and movement are evident in every class. The Music Together philosophy is that children learn to love music by watching their caregivers enjoying music. This is not a drop off program. Caregivers must participate and there is a no phone policy. This makes the class a special time to share and Miriam is devoted to making it special.
Miriam is the absolute best! She knows how to engage young students in music and we look forward to music class every week! We have so much fun singing the Music Together songs ant home and use Miriam’s help tricks for transitions with our child, too. This class is phenomenal and we highly recommend! This experience makes learning music basics fun for the whole family!
My kids and I have been doing music classes with Miriam at Music Together of Charm City for 5 years. We absolutely love Miriam and all the songs we’ve learned. Miriam is wonderful with kids and clearly loves what she does. My kids have learned so many songs and are constantly singing. It may seem like the kids aren’t paying attention in class but they sing all the songs on the way home and for the rest of the week.
Miriam has been absolutely amazing. She has taught both of our children, and our family has been part of her Music Together classes for over three years. During that time, she has truly helped bring the joy and love of music into our kids’ lives in a way that feels natural, fun, and deeply meaningful. Miriam’s energy during class is incredible. She creates a welcoming, joyful environment and makes sure that every child, and parent/caregiver, feels included through interactive participation. Her classes are engaging, thoughtfully structured, and full of movement, music, and connection. One of her true gifts, and a core component of the program, is that she doesn’t just teach the kids — she teaches the adults how to better support and empower their children. She gently guides parents in understanding how kids learn best through music and movement, which makes the experience richer and more impactful well beyond class. We are so grateful for everything Miriam has shared with our family and couldn’t recommend her more highly.
I have had my son involved in Music Together since he was a baby. We love the program. We found Miriam and Music Together of Charm City during COVID. We took several zoom Rhythm Kids classes with Miriam. We found her engaging and knowledgeable, not only of the Music Together curriculum, but also of music and instruments in general. During a time of uncertainty and separation, Miriam helped us feel connected and part of a community. My son and I both looked forward to coming to class for the songs, drum patterns, and movement activities. My son has aged out of the Music Together and Rhythm Kids programs, but we still listen to the music from time to time and have fond memories of attending the classes. Miriam and her classes were an integral part of my son’s childhood, and I am thankful/grateful we found her studio.
