Staff are super friendly and helpful. Found the fairytale room to be a little bit average. No real clear story, puzzles probably a little bit too convoluted. You are thrown a lot of info that's unnecessary. We were told that if you are overthinking it then you probably aren't on the right track. To me that's a bit of a problem as there's an information overload and trying to pull something very simple out of it can be very confusing. The problem is that a lot of this info doesn't progress the story either, so it's pointless. The puzzles don't feel relevant to the story either, which makes it feel like you are often flailing around to find direction. I honestly don't really even know what happened. Further to that, the thematic seemed inconsistent and a bit jarring. Overall not a bad experience, but I don't know if I would go back.

We completed 2 escape rooms today at Mystic Escape! Alex our game master really added to the experience with his enthusiasm and interactions with our group before and after the game (a great game master for us males of breaks the experience so we were so grateful for Alex today)! The rooms were good. Not super hard to complete but challenging enough. Some mechanical and physical locks to open - and they have put lots of effort into the story of the rooms. We enjoyed them as a group of 4!

Did the Yokai room and was an amazing experience! Really good puzzles and well designed rooms! The story was so interesting and our helper Alex did an awesome job at explaining everything 10/10

This escape room place was really good!! No spoilers, on the escape room but people should try the Yokai room. We were recommended that specific room and it was perfect for us. Our host Alex was amazing!! Despite us coming in late and only walking in, he made us feel warmly welcomed! Highly recommend for others to try!

12 August 2025: First room at Mystic! City of Ash was spooky and challenging. We loved it! Alex was an awesome game master. Animated, encouraging, helpful but Not too helpful. He allowed us to work through the puzzles which we appreciated so much. 15 Aug 2025- Alex recommended Yokai and it did not disappoint! We loved the story and the puzzles. Thank you to Alex for guiding us and encouraging us as we were always on the right track when we doubted ourselves and asked for help.
