I had a great experience at this buffet, and the food was truly delicious. There was a wide variety of dishes available, and everything I tried tasted fresh and well prepared. The flavors were rich, and the quality of the food was excellent. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options were nicely arranged and served at the right temperature. The presentation of the food was clean and appealing, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal.

We had such a wonderful experience at Nagas South Indian Restaurant! We ordered the appam with mutton and chicken curry, and everything was absolutely delicious. The appam was perfectly soft in the center with a crispy edge, and both curries were rich, flavorful, and cooked beautifully. We also loved the decor and the beautiful South Indian–style paintings throughout the restaurant — they made the atmosphere feel warm, cultural, and welcoming. Overall, amazing food, great ambiance, and such a lovely place to enjoy authentic South Indian cuisine. Highly recommend!

Having tasted some of the best South Indian food back in India, this place definitely caught me by surprise. Every thing from the service, hospitality, ambience and the food was a 11/10! If you’re in Houston, DO NOT MISS eating here. Words cannot describe how delicious the food was. P.s - Eat your hearts out and top it off with some soothing filter coffee! You won’t be disappointed ❤️

⭐ Honest Review – Nagas South Indian Cuisine I recently visited Nagas South Indian Cuisine and tried their buffet. I usually travel a lot and have eaten in many Indian restaurants across different cities like St. Louis and Chicago, but this experience was quite disappointing. 🔹 Positives: • The variety of dishes was decent. • The place was neat, and the seating area was okay. 🔹 Concerns: • The food didn’t taste fresh, and most of the fried items were loaded with too much oil. • Although the buffet had many listed items, most of them tasted very similar — it felt repetitive. • The price ($25) is way too high for the quality served. In other cities, I’ve had far better South Indian food for $15 with authentic flavors and freshness. • The food didn’t have that “home-style comfort” — it felt ordinary and heavy. Honestly, this was the first time I felt like I wasted $25 on food. I couldn’t even finish my plate and felt bad for leaving it unfinished, as wasting food isn’t something I like to do. But the quality and freshness were just not worth it. 👉 I truly hope the restaurant pays attention to taste, freshness, and fair pricing. Customers like me travel to explore good food, not just to fill the stomach but to enjoy the experience.
