I've worked with Nancy a few times, for personal headshots and also to photograph my team when I owned my own company. The resulting photographs are always stunning, beyond my expectations; she makes me look so good, and I don't usually photograph well! But I especially appreciate her working style. She's professional and skilled, knows exactly how to get what I want while composing a great photo, but she's also flexible, open to ideas, and fun and comfortable to work with. I came in with a vague idea of what I wanted, and through some easy simple conversation and trying some things, we were able to land on exactly the right mix of poses, backgrounds, and outfits. I highly recommend Nancy!

Nancy recently did a number of headshots for our company website - she does fantastic work - the shots are perfect and she makes it painless, easy and quick for the subjects. I would recommended her highly and without reservation!

Nancy is the consummate professional. She has a lovely studio space and assistant and enjoys experimenting with light, backgrounds and dialog to get the perfect shot. (Though she doesn't have them in her studio normally, her dogs, were "visiting" when i was there which helped me to relax since I love animals.) Nancy took my first professional photo back in 2010 and the most recent in 2023. It never occurred to me to see anyone else. Plus Nancy will "retouch" out all those fine lines, etc, upon request, so you can feel perfectly wonderful about your professional photo. She is a wonderful photographer, beyond her portrait work as well. I encourage you to check out her website for whatever you might need her services for.

Nancy Rothstein is great! I was lucky enough to take advantage of her Valentine's special and get a fantastic headshot for such a deal. I've already gotten compliments on the photo in my latest marketing materials, and I'm grateful to Nancy for her part in helping my business grow. As someone who is usually not thrilled with pictures of myself, I felt nervous and awkward about being photographed for a shot of just me and my head :). But Nancy put me right at ease on the phone making our appointment and when I arrived at her super-cute studio. With her thorough instruction, I came equipped with wardrobe changes and everything. Nancy gave me great cues throughout our hour and a half session together, reassuring me that we were definitely going to get a fabulous photo! Not only did we get one, but I actually like 4 or 5 of them! Nancy was very responsive and professional in getting me narrowed down to one winner, and did a wonderful job producing the final image in color and black and white. If you want a great photo AND an enjoyable and validating experience being photographed, Nancy's the one for you! She's an artist who turns a head shot into your own work of art.
